Our Programs
RI State Long Term Care Ombudsman Program (RISLTCOP)
Individuals receiving long term care services are among the most frail and vulnerable. At times, they need help to improve their quality of life and care. Ombudsmen work to resolve these problems and effect change at the local, state, and national levels to improve quality of care.
Building Bridges Intergenerational Program
About 50% of nursing home residents receive no visits from family or friends. They are alone and isolated while many children have no living grandparents. These youngsters are missing a precious experience which is where the Building Bridges program comes in.
