How can we help you?

Help Ensure Every Voice in Long-Term Care Is Heard

This year marks an important milestone for the Alliance as we launch our first annual appeal. For decades, our work has quietly strengthened long-term care communities across the state. Now, during a time of growing need, we invite you to partner with us in protecting and uplifting some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

Building Bridges Intergenerational Program

Connecting Generations. Enriching Lives.
For more than 20 years, Building Bridges has brought students and nursing home residents together through shared activities that reduce isolation, build empathy, and create meaningful relationships rooted in dignity, connection, and quality of life.

RI State Long Term Care Ombudsman Program (RISLTCOP)

Individuals receiving long term care services are among the most frail and vulnerable. At times, they need help to improve their quality of life and care. Ombudsmen work to resolve these problems and effect change at the local, state, and national levels to improve quality of care.

The Sweet Acts Program

In Memory of Catherine Gergora
The Sweet Acts Program provides immediate, flexible assistance to seniors living in Rhode Island’s long-term care communities who are facing unmet needs. Every gift ensures that Catherine’s lifelong commitment to advocacy and compassion continues – meeting residents where they are, in the moment they need help most.
