Building Bridges Intergenerational Program
Connect generations. Create lasting memories.
Building Bridges brings students and older adults together through visits in nursing homes across Rhode Island. Volunteers create connection through conversation, games, crafts, music, and storytelling.
Friendly Visitors Program
Sometimes the greatest gift is your time.
Friendly Visitors volunteers provide companionship through regular one-on-one visits with nursing home residents, whether that’s chatting, playing cards, reading together, or simply listening.
RI State Long Term Care Ombudsman Program (RISLTCOP)
Be a voice for residents’ rights.
Ombudsmen protect the rights and quality of life of residents in nursing homes and assisted living communities across Rhode Island.
